Well maintained flat with great amenities in an excellent location Positive: The location was excellent, the apartment itself was spacious and well decorated. It had excellent heating (important as we visited between Christmas & New Year) and the kitchen was very helpfully stocked. All appliances worked well and having a washing machine available was a wonderful asset. The river running just outside the flat was beautiful to listen to and there is a great enclosed playground within a park just across the road which is great for kids. Loads of great cafes, restaurants and grocery stores just 5-10 mins walk away. Negative: The main bathroom sometimes had a strong smell of septic tank - this may be due to the toilet itself which often ran loudly after being flushed and had an unfixed flush plate. This flat is on the ground floor which means people stay above and it needs to be made clear to people staying on the upper floors that they can be heard clearly. Two of the five night we stayed, the people above us walked around & closed doors loudly until 2am which wasn’t conducive to a good night’s sleep. There is very limited clothes storage which could be problematic if you plan on staying more than a few nights with a group of people. There were a few black hairs stuck to the wall above the mirror in the en suite bathroom but berthing else felt clean and well tended.

Great base in The Lakes Positive: Very spacious. Easy safe parking off road- we could see the car from the apartment. A responsive owner when we did have a problem. Would definitely stay there again. Negative: Toilet seat in ensuite needs some attention. Would appreciate a curtain or blind on the juliet balcony doors in the kitchen as it didn't feel very private standing there.

It was very good experience and well worth paying. Positive: The property was beyond the expectations to be honest and the facilities were very good and the rooms were clean as well. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

Very comfortable stay and great quiet location. Positive: Great size, comfy beds and nice linens. Nice bathrooms. Negative: Needs a lick of paint in places. Needs some sofa cushions.

Positive: The interiors were cosy. Negative: No Toiletries Spider webs seen in a couple of wall corners. Opening/Locking of Windows was a bit difficult in the bedrooms.
