Biskey Howe Central - free access to pool and gym

Very good place to stay and would highly recommend it. Positive: It was modern clean and comfortable. Close to amenities and shops. Negative: We thought the spa would have been closer. Parking was a problem.

Great location, nice clean linen. Slightly difficult to park Positive: Clean linen and located close to the amenities Negative: Difficult property to find as the door sign had faded plus you had to find it while driving on a single file traffic road. Parking was hit and miss and we had to park away from the property. But that’s Lake District and that was understandable.

Clean and good bathroom and kitchen layout. Positive: Cleanliness Location to main shops and cafes Negative: Only one small window in downstairs of the apartment with now view. Dark in downstairs accommodation so would not have liked to be staying longer than 2 nights. Main front door is off the main road and the wheelie bins sit at front as you enter- not clean and front door dirty. Not welcoming and very off putting. Kitchen facilities good but lacking in crockery and cutlery. Only 3 cups and place setting for three. Forks etc don’t match. No plug for the kitchen sink. No chair in either bedroom to sit.
