Apartment 2 Jester Court

Good spot and solid stay for 1 or 2 in Windermere town. Positive: Superb location and so easy to find. Had a bit of a brain freeze with where the lock box was for the keys as thought it was outside the main door of the property but was in fact inside, through main door and upstairs to the actual apartments. Nice stay for 1 or 2 and relaxing overall, great shower/bathroom which is always key and nice to have a decent sized table for breakfast at the window overlooking the street. Great comms from hosts to keep us up-to-date and if we needed any assistance. Negative: A few minor issues for us, we would have liked some additional cutlery, perhaps a tea towel and a small dustpan n brush for example. The sink/pipes made a few gurgling noises now and then. Toaster was non-functional but we just used the oven grill once we worked it out. I would say though it has good oven and hobs, microwave etc., it is more aimed for those mainly eating out.

Positive: The property was in a fantastic location and beautifully clean, making it a lovely place for a weekend getaway. We really enjoyed our stay and would genuinely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable break. Negative: We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the apartment. Just a couple of small suggestions would be to provide a little more cutlery, along with a tea towel and some kitchen roll. These are only minor points and certainly wouldn’t affect my overall review — just a few little things that would make the stay even better!

Positive: Great location

Well renovated apartment Positive: The apartment is well renovated. It is located near the train and bus station. There are many eateries around the apartment. Negative: It is on the second floor accessible by staircase. We have no problem walking up as we do not have heavy luggage.

Positive: Good location to use as a base to explore Windemere. Negative: No parking, but nearby public car park has reasonable rates. The entrance and communal stairs are not very inviting but the flat itself is very nice.
